2008 - NTV's main newscaster for Beijing Olympics
2009 - 1st idol to cover Japan's general elections through "ZERO x Senkyo";
2009 - Honored with Japan's GQ Man of the Year award
2010 - Special newscaster for Vancouver Winter Olympics
2010 - Sent to Germany, Russia and Romania to cover post-war effects, and interview Mikhail Gorbachev, former Soviet Union General Secretary
2012 - Main newscaster for London Olympics
2014 - Special newscaster for Sochi Winter Olympics
2016 - Main newscaster of "ZERO x Senkyo 2016"; for House of Councillors Election
